Fear is in the mind, thoughts due to uneasiness. It depends on the context... for me, love-lust is more powerful than fear.

Yes, Fear can be overcome. You can make yourself stronger both physically and mentally to overcome fear. I personally think Love is a lot more powerful then fear. Love is what makes life worth living.

No, nothing is more powreful than fear. Fear is the strongest emotion in the world.
The fear of death is the creator of God.
Fear keeps all dictators in power.
Fear makes children pretend to be obedient.
Fear keeps people from quitting their jobs.
Fear kills compassion and drugs the search for wisdom into paralysis.
Fear is most dangerous of all when teamed up with its "prettier" playmate, Hope (which is a mere stage name for Hope's real name --Expectation).
You don't have compassion until you've grown wise, and that hasn't happened into you are in control of fear and of expectation, forces that are superbly difficult to control.

having been mugged once (was dragged in a car a driven round for an hour) i can honestly say it was the most hightened emotion i have ever felt, i truly thought i was gonna die and the feeling kept me trembling till the next day, havnt experienced anything like it since
