Seen it last night and it was a average 6/10. Nothing like 80's TV Show. Wait to see it on DVD.

First half: boring. Second half: really good. Lots of action. But if you liked the original series, not really anything like it. The names are the same, the aliases are the same and four of the supporting characters are the same, but that is it. Much darker, no pastels, very little neon. And no one seems to be very happy about anything. Oh yeah, they get someone to do a cover of In The Air Tonight, so they can connect with the original music.

All the reviews from people who saw it said its not a patch on the original, and very poor/dissapointing. I only saw the commercial to realise what a money grabbing scheme it was, like Terminator 3 - how is it possible for there to be a 3rd film?

It's really good, Micheal Mann knows how to shoot a fight scene. it's not like the eighties TV series but surely if you wanted to see that you would just buy the DVDs. Colin Farrell is so HOT, and even makes a mullet look good!
