You can't do it with Yahoo from their web page. If you can figure out how to set up your Yahoo account in Outlook/Outlook Express, you can check the "Read Receipt" option for all mail, or for each individual e-mail that you send.

In general, you can't. If you use Outlook or Lotus notes you can check the box that says "return receipt" and choose the option for "receipt on open"(or something like that..not at my work system at the moment) but it's up to the person opening the mail to actually allow the receipts to be sent.

AOL has that capability with other AOL users, but cannot be done across ISPs.
