My first time was when I was 6 - several kids from school were chosen with me to sing on the radio, and we went to the local hotel lobby where a microphone the size of a dinner platter was standing in front of us. I don't even remember what we sang, but I remember doing it. Lordy, I'm old. LOL

I lip synched my way through junior high choir and have never done it since. In fact I would go blind and deaf with panic if ever forced to do it now.

Last time I did that, I was singing Karaoke to this girl I met in Hawaii. I was singing "Low," by Cracker, and there's this part where he says "Hey, don't you wanna go down?" I was really drunk, and I thought it would be funny if I really emphasized that part. She started to cry, and left, and now that club doesn't offer that song as one of their choices to sing anymore.

I was in choir during my eigth grade year. We sang twice that year in front of people. I was okay while surrounded by everyone else, but I'm so glad I didn't have the solos, I would have fainted.

I've done that a couple times (not including drunk howling at karaoke night at the bar), I hated it.
