After you reset router to change IP did release and renew the IP on your computer? If your computer is still pulling 192.168.20.x IP is not going to connect. Reboot, or if you are familiar with steps open dos prompt and release/renew IP.

Win 98 and ME
WINIPCFG /RELEASE
WINIPCFG /RENEW

XP and WIN 2000
IPCONFIG /RELEASE
IPCONFIG /RENEW

do a reset of the router, should be a reset button you push while doing a repowering of the unit. You could always reflash the ROM. Look on the manufacteror's website for updated downloads

After you reset the router, you have to reboot your computer. Until you reboot the machine, you still have an IP address on the old subnet and won't be able to reach the router until you get a new IP address on the new subnet.

Alternatively, you can release and renew your IP address from the command line. Open a command prompt box and type the following commands, pressing 'Enter' after each one:

IPCONFIG /RELEASE

IPCONFIG /RENEW

You should now be able to reach the management page. If not, power cycle the router and your computer and try again.

Turn off all your equipment including cable modem if you have one (unplug power cords). Start everything back up in this order. Wait a few minutes before turning on each piece of equipment. Plug up cable modem. Wait. Plug up router. Wait. Turn on PC. Wait. See if that helps. Also you might want to check your settings on your PC to make sure it acquires connections automatically and is not using a static IP address.

This is a private address (there are three such including 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.255.255) for private, internal use. Addresses that fall within these ranges are not routed on the Internet backbone. Internet routers immediately discard private addresses.

you could go to your schools office (or your dorm advisor) and talk to them about it. Make sure your entering the right password, also take into mind that some campuses restrict the use of there wifi to mobile devices such as ipods, but still limit the wifi to be used by laptops and such. Just talk to your dorm advisor, or someone who deals with the internet in your campus.

Perhaps you have some firewall software installed that is blocking it. If you do, disable it then try again.

You might also try http://192.168.0.1

Best Wishes and have fun but be careful.
