I hope so.

Everyone thinks he or she has a means to solve every problem and there are many illogical answers. While I don't know the nature of the question you asked, I might preface my answer by telling you that I am.......(whatever), not to qualify me but so you could judge my thinking. So if I am Jewish, you might get a slant on where I am coming from....but if I were Samoan, you might have a different thought about my answer. I, too, have seen may Biblical quotations here that seem absurd and I understand your angst. I am Buddhist, American (but not one of the nut cases who wear their religion outside) and I tell you this only to explain that I find most of the religious quotes ridiculous and out of context to the issue and I have studied Christianity (retired Catholic at the age of 8) and it is a bit offensive for people to push religion on others. But believe that they do not intent harm but simply expound their simple beliefs that everything is under "God's" watchful eye.

Some people feel the need to force religion down a persons' throat at every opportunity. Sucks if you ask a question about lawnmowers and get told not to kill the grass, God doesn't like the grass to be killed!! That's right about the stuff I've seen on here, some people can put God in every argument they have, which is ridiculous!

Because people want to force their beliefs onto everyone; everybody thinks what they believe in is "The Truth", but we can't all be right. That's why i prefer not to believe in anything, that way i won't be disappointed when the Big Day comes!
And i am sure you're gonna have religious responses to this question lol!

it is very unfortunate that this happens,
religion should not be brought up in a non religious environment as it can create issues,
i love talking about religions and beliefs but i only talk about it when people ask,
beliefs and religions should be shared and talked about to make the world a more tolerant and less ignorant place but this should only be done when the issue is raised.

As a Christian everything in my life relates to my faith and it is natural that my answer would reflect this. God is the answer to all our problems, all our blessings, all our joy, all our successes. How could I then answer a question without using my faith?

Each man gives the thing he has...or woman, for that matter. Who you are colours how you interpret and respond to what you see. As with performance art, we all bring ourselves to each question, so what I see/say may not be what you do. That's what makes us all unique.

God Bless you for asking!

Yes annoying isn't it! I guess to those that believe it is an indistinguishable part of their lives, hence hard to keep a lid on!

Because people use their religion as a guide to live their life.
