I can think of 2 possibilities...
1. Defective mouse.... replace it (borrow a friend's mouse to try)
if that's not it
B. If you have "friends" that have access to you computer, it could be a joke program that one of them installed.
Three. Less likely, but still possible could be a Trojan or virus that your computer picked up.. run anti-virus program.

You've been hacked. Someone else has control of your PC. You need a tech, and may have to reformat your disk to remove it. Do not do this yourself.

They will be able to obtain your passwords. Get help.

reinstall windows if you have a winxp cd.
