Portability not important. Which is the best in terms of graphics capability/ media editing. Photo and video.

If portability isn't important, then, iMac.
Why spend money on portability if you don't need it?
Personally, I prefer the flexibility. I like being able to surf the net while I'm in bed, so I've got the G4 Powerbook, but that is a personal choice

mac mini, for money, it runs really well though the graphics crd isn't supposed to be too hot. I have no probs with video or photo editing. Takes up very little spce and you can choose what monitor you want, great as well if you already have one.
imac seems more for fun consumer market with front row and built in cam.
The mac books are great but not cost effective.

I bought my mac mini and a decent laptop(xp) for a little more than a mac book on its own
