It was hilarious... but you have to understand the humor behind the movie. If you are going into it expecting the prepackaged laugh tracks that America usually expects from its movies, you aren't going to like it.

I LOVE that movie its so funny. They should have a Napolean Dynamite 2!

I didn't like it . I am 46 years old and that is probably why. My daughter who is 22 rented it and we watched it together,she thought it was OK and funny . I thought it was slow moving and the jokes were not really that funny.
It seemed to me that the whole movie was in slow motion,and he took too long to answer questions from other cast members of the movie.
The whole plot of the movie I understood,where it was the underdog who tried to save the day at the end of the movie,that was the only bright spot of the movie at least for me anyways.
Maybe it has something to do with the "drug" culture of the younger generation where he acted like he was high the whole movie at least that is the only explanation I could come up with in regards to his behavior and mannerisms.
oh well ...it's a new generation i guess lol :)

My brothers & I like it a lot, even my mother found this movie amusing. We even take it to the nth extreme at golf lessons and places with friends. This movie was a good break from all the usual fluff & action we see all the time.

It was a rarity in Hollywood--a diamond in the rough of independent movies that struck a chord with nearly everyone! I thought it was hysterical, sweet, a bit satirical, and easy to love, if you don't make your living as a stuck-up critic!
