i am not a guy but if she left i would tell her tough (to bad) and to settle it in court (if you were married) and do not pay her anything or give her anything until it goes to court. if you were not married and she left i would just give her her clothes and what she came into the relationship with and nothing more not even money! (example: if she brought a bed,tv, nicknacks, etc.what ever she had, then return them,) you keep whatever the 2 of you bought together as yours.

I'm not a guy but I am on your side. It sounds like she is just trying to get as much from you as possible. My husband's ex-housemate tried to do the same to him. Don't give her anything. She left you high and dry and she's trying to get more out of you that you don't have.

I don't think it is reasonable of her to ask for the money not unless she paid for the stuff out of her own pocket but even then well...its still seriously taking the michael isn't it.Don't give in to her demands and seek legal advice.

"You walked out and didn't take it with you."

Your ex's lying and cheating was more important than the money poured into PROPS that were then ABANDONED.

Keep the things and pay her nothing.

I would tell her to get lost. If you have some things you dont want any more then give her them, but do not give her money. why should you? Would she give you anything.
