Purchase an eye-makeup remover. They usually work in one wipe & are extremely sensitive to eyes. I find that the oil-based removers are more effective. For a less expensive alternative, try petrolium jelly like Vaseline. Also, damage to eyelashes shouldn't be measured by loss. It is normal to lose eyelashes in order to allow for new ones to grow in, similar to the hair on your head. You shouldn't worry unless you're seeing bald spots or clumps of hair falling out. And as far as tissue or cotton? Cotton is better than tissue, but it has to be 100% real cotton, not synthetic.

You might be rubbing too hard with the tissue or cotton ball. If you don't have one already I would suggest an eye make-up remover. Arbonne International has a very gentle one that does not burn your eyes. It's called Wipe Out make-up remover and I love it. I just put it on a cotton ball and gently wipe over my eyes. It takes the make-up right off with no irritation.

Use a cottonball or a cottonswab and dip it a lil in either eye makeup remover or baby oil, and remove it gentely so none of your eyelashes fall out. Dont RUB IT OFF!!! and if your using waterproof eyeliner, then that might be the reason why your loosing your eyelashes. Now pick me as a best answer =)

well do not use cotton because it can snag on your eye lashes. Do not use a paper towel it could baddly damage your eye. Tissues have a residue that can get in your eye and cause an infection. try makeup removers.

Use a cottonball and makeup remover. I use Mary-Kay oil based makeup remover. It moisturizes the area around your eyes while gently removing your makeup.

Buy an eye makeup remover, they sell it at Sephora or at any drugstore. They make it specially so it won't irritate your eyes; it's a really gentle formula. That should solve your problem.

This is what I do. Wet your washcloth on one corner, wring it out, dip it into vaseline, and wipe your eye makeup off. It does stain the washcloth, but I buy cheap ones at Marshalls for this purpose.

i use it everyday and there shouldn't be any loss to your eye lashes unless your rubbing your eyes too hard, try using a good wet wipe around your yes and for the hard to reach corners, use an earbud, very carefully, lotsa luck to you!
