DO UNTO OTHER WHAT YOU WANT OTHER TO DO UNTO YOU.
Does it make any difference if you took revenge on that person, it's not like she/he can UNDO calling you cheater right? So just live, forgive and forget.
It's all part of life. If you are going to take revenge on that person, I am really going to pity you, cos for the rest of your life, every time someone makes you mad, you would want to take revenge. Very soon you're going to be too tired to do anything.

That would be a rather juvenile way of handling the problem. Would you rob a liqour store to get revenge if they said you were a crook and weren't? Or would you start having sex with the same sex just because you were called a homo/*** and weren't? That's probably the dumbest suggested course of action I've ever heard in response to being called a name.

Buying into and participating in someone elses drama only gives it credibility. Those who really know you will know the truth.... and nobody elses opinion matters. The one who started the rumor will be found out and made out to be what they truely are.... and that is the sweetest revenge.

Taking revenge on something petty like that is well...petty.
Revenge should only be taken on serious things like someone raping your wife or daughter; or someone sending you to prison unwarranted, or someone stalking and harrasing you.

Revenge will only lower you to that person's level. Totally forget it and go your own way. IGNORING them says it ALL! I also think you should plan on forgetting that person and moving on.

Why does this make you so mad? Are you a latent cheater? Who cares what that person thinks? Did they publicly humiliate you? Need more info.

not really...but if you must, do it carefully, revenge is a dish best served cold. you must be sneaky. a good way is to sign that persons address up to tons of junk mail- jehovahs witnesses, hardware catalogues, lingerie catalogues etc. that way they will be irritated without knowing it was you. works well with phone numbers too.
