I have tried 'proving' it to them, but when they choose to believe you are not telling the truth, there is not much you can do. They will believe what they choose to believe. Eventually the truth always comes out, always shows itself, and then the person has no choice but to accept it as truth. The truth can never stay hidden forever - that's the nature of truth.

If the person you are with does not trust you when you say you are telling the truth then you don't have a relationship and need not be with that person. Relationships should be based on trust, once that is gone there is no hope for the relationship to survive.

The old axiom that actions speak louder than words may apply here. Your behavior may support your words. It is also true that one can not convince another if the other does not want to believe.
