No,because "race" doesnt make a person.Of course its apart of who they are,but each person is different. You cant say someone is like a certain race because not one person in a certain race acts alike.Race has nothing to do with it,a person can be orange, green, red, black,or white and it doesnt make them like anyone of the same color. Each and every person deserves a chance to be understood and accepted for who they are.Acception shouldnt be based on race, stereotypes dont apply, and shouldnt be even taken into consideration.Everyone deserves to be accepted for who they are,not by the color of their skin.

Yes, of course.

I grew up hearing that women should be treated like men in the work place. Women started wearing suits and ties and everyone should be treated equal. Well, we are only equal as far as our rights under the law. We are all different and unequal in all other ways. You are either naive or dillusional if you think otherwise.

In the '60's we were given Affirmative Action. Now, after two generations, has it changed anything? Not really.

Different races have different characteristics besides skin and hair color, the ability to jump high, small or large penises or intelligence in math, science or whatever. You cannot make an intelligent argument based on facts and deny this.

Racial profiling may have a bad name now because some Arab-americans and black-americans have been wrongfully accused but a few negative examples does not mean that the whole concept is wrong.

Except for children that have had no experience making decisions in the real world, adults can accept this will always exist or not. I have traveled extensively all over the world and this is something openly acknowledged everywhere. Black leaders in this country have tried to make this out to be immoral to help the black population. We should work with the black population here until they are all as fully integrated into mainstream society as we can but that does not mean that when that we forget about racial profiling. That just puts our children at risk from races that have a negative trait that may hurt us or one that may give them an advantage over us.

It is amazing to me how many Americans say that all races are equal and it does not matter what race you are. Sure it does. We do not have to call each other names but the more we recognize the differences and learn to work with them then the more honest and effective our mixed society will be.

i really try to see the person, and not a color. There is good and bad of every race, and I try to be freindly to everyone I meet, until I have a reason not to. If a person is a good person, who wishes to accept me also, then we wont have a problem, If I dont feel good about someone, I just wont persue a relationship with them. obviously, ther are going to be differences in culture, even where you were brought up, or religions. that what make people interesting. so I dont really look for sterotypes, rather if they are someone who is going to be freindly with me. i thougt some more about this and realized that maybe if they are females of a different race, I might appreciate their attributes, like Black girls have a nice figure, or Latinas are just beautiful, Asian girls look so sexy, But it is an appreciation of the beauty of their race, not a negative thing. I like white girls a lot, too. but I notice the race differences more in women than in men, but not negativly. more of looks than behaviors. but that's just the horndog that I am. Oh Yeah, Ive been noticing a lot more of the east Indian gals, lately too. I think I just love the looks of women. In All of their types.and I appreciate the genetic differences of different races. But as I said, I'm not really looking at those things with guys, does that make me bad?

No.I might've 6 years ago, but for those years (and this one) I have gone to a school where I'm the only Caucasian person in my grade. It makes no difference to me. When I look at one of my best friends, I don't see dark or a Hispanic, I see a person that I care about. And by the way "whatisinhotdogs", I live in Texas, and there might be some prejudice in my state, but I'm not one of them.

no i don't. i like to get to know that person first. most of the time they are pretty cool. there are those who if you are nice to them they freak out and get angry and think you did it because of there race but they have forgotten that it wasn't me that treated them so badly. I'm willing to but race aside and just except someone for who they are inside not for how they look. the next question you should ask is who they do the same and not stereotype me with all the white people who treat them like crap or are they going to tell me to my face that i oppressed them when that was way before i was born and that wasn't my fault? i just wanna be friends.

Yes, and I'm a pussified liberal Democrat, so when I meet a person of another race, I fall all over myself to make sure they know that I'm not racist, I treat them special because they are another race, and I make sure I bash Republicans in front of them, just so they know how tolerant and progressive I am. Because as a liberal Democrat, I care DEEPLY about what others think of me.

Love, Jack.

No, and I don't even slowly do that... To me, people are just that: People. Yes, we all come from different backgrounds, cultures, and ways of being raised within our own families, but we are ALL UNIQUE and are to be viewed as such... Yes, certain stereotypes will apply, but hey, you are what you are and you are who you are... Let's spread the love and the hate will go away by itself... Understanding and love overcomes ignorance and evil... Let's ALL do our part...! Good question...

If we hve been brought up with racist parents its easy to do, however once we travel outside our areas and meet different races its doesnt take long to realise that there r good and bad in every race and to take people as we find them
