I wouldn't know but if you research www.realtor.com I can assure you several companies and agents will claim to be #1. My question is why does it ultimately matter? If you are a customer then the companies revenues are meaningless to the point of selling your property or finding a suitable location to buy.

The particular agent is the driving force behind most sales and I wouldn't rule out any agent because he doesn't work for #1. If you go with the top revenue agent, then you have to expect limited customer service from that agent or interacting with their assistants since the particular agent will be quite busy.

If you are looking to enter the field, then the #1 company would be enticing but I can tell you from experience, it doesn't guarantee that you would succeed by latching on to other's coat tails. It is a demanding profession and one that requires a lot of personal initiative and drive. As a newbie, you would be getting the crumbs, the "problem" clients and properties, etc. You will have to fight and scramble for desk time (answering the incoming calls) so if you aren't willing to get out and propect on your own then you will have a tough time.

I am affiliated with a national company that does it a little bit different. If you are interested in a career email me. Work from your home, virtually.
