No...leggings and skinny pants are "in" Also the wide trouser pant...but if YOU like parachute pants wear them...you don't have to be a slave to what the fashion industry says...be an individual, period.

gosh, i hope not. didn't look good back then and won't look good 20+ years later.
the trends this season - for pants - are gauchos/palazzos, leggings and skinny jeans - no mention of nylon in any of the fashion journals I've read but who knows...
but then again, if they look good on you, better to be true to who you are and what fits you then what the fashion industry says. if i wore leggings, or skinny jeans for that matter, more than a few people would keel over in disgust that's for sure.
just because it's in, doesn't mean it's right. just because it's out, doesn't mean it's wrong. go for the parachute pants...

I keep up with the latest fashion in my magazines and I have not seen the parachute pants anywhere.
