resumes definitely play a vital role in the decision for calling for evaluation or getting short listed for an interview. Resumes shall be prepared carefully and one should know that all the favourable points of him should in the very first page of the resume. The person who evaluates your resume should be able to see majority of the points at a glance.

I suggest going to your local library and getting out a few books about resume-making. These books usually have great templates. Don't bother doing all the resume-writing activities, just look at the templates and find one that highlights your good points while masking your bad ones.
