I really like Depo Provera. It's a hormone you receive in an injection every 3 months - so you only have to worry about getting one 4 times a year. I hate taking pills and shots don't bother me, so this has worked great. Plus, you don't really menstuate - I may have some light, spotty bleeding a couple times a year, but haven't really had a full blown period the whole time I've been on it.

The pill is probably the most effective, but any form of birth control needs to be combined with condom use. Some other methods are the patch, Depo Vera (sp?)/ the shot, Norplant (they stick 6 little sticks into your upper arm). You should talk to your gynoconlogist about everything, the side effects, and how well they "work."

basically out of interest, please enable us comprehend what state you're in that do not have the iud or depo injections, I artwork contained in the realm of gynecology and am very very curious, i hit upon it very hard to think about that they are not reachable. i'd not recommend the shot besides because of section outcomes, notwithstanding the iud is an pleasant bc gadget. besides, you should use both the orthoevra patch and the nuvaring, same certain treatment because the pill and it extremely works a similar way notwithstanding now not plenty nausea bc you dont swallow the pills into your abdomen. ideal luck
