I'm not stupid. It was mistake. I don't normally make that mistake. I have done it once last year and the year before that. I have been taking birth control since august 2004 so I'm not clueless. I just want to know if its possible to become pregnant because of doing that once.

I mean there is always a risk when taking birth control in general because it's not 100%. I've been in the same situation often, but I try to avoid sex within the next week from when I forgot to take the pill. The risk is increased some but at the same time, since you've been taking the pill so long, you have the medicine in your system, so it's not too much to worry about. When you do forget to take it at your regular time, just take the pill as soon as you remember....don't wait until it's time to take the next one.

Yes it can. Especially if you miss at the start of your new pack. It's a slight chance, but considering the outcome, it's still a chance.
I'm sure you've heard of women who have claimed to have gotten pregnant while on the pill, well, that's one of the ways it happened.
Although most of them skipped and doubled up more than just once a year.
Another interesting note, is that those people usually ended up being pregnant with fraternal twins. I don't know why this is, but I think it makes you produce more than one egg to be fertilized.
Personally, as soon as I stopped the pill, I got pregnant with twins. I also miscarried, and 1 month later, conceived again.
The only way to assure that you will not become pregnant on the pill, is if you take one at the same time each day of your pack.

Yes it is possible to become pregnant if you miss your contraceptive pill depending on when you had sex you can go and get the morning after pill. if it is too late for that then unfortunately you will have to wait for your next pregnancy and take a pregnancy test. Good luck. Also you should never double up on your pill just throw the missed one away as doubling up may cause you more harm and will not make your pill more effective.

yep my sister came to visit me in my state and forgot hers back home tried to take it once she got back ended up pregnant he's 5 years old now

'farid so hun...missing just one pill can throw your entire system off...and it's supposed to take an entire cycle (one month) for everything ot be ok again...
