Yes, because of your elevated hormones. It's ok to have it right up until your water breaks, as long as you are comfortable. It doesn't help bring on labor though, they used to think the testosterone/progesterone would induce labor but a study came out last month saying it doesn't.

having sex in the 1st trimester does NOT increase your chance of miscarriage and having sex in the 3rd trimester does NOT increase your chance of early labor. You could do it 50 times a day and you would still be safe. The only time it is not safe is if your doctor has advised against it...if you are having complications.

Yes, it's normal, especially with all those hormones raging! And yes you can have sex in your last trimester if you are very careful. Don't get too wild. ;) Enjoy it now, because you have to wait 6 weeks after having the baby to have sex again.

Yes I believe its normal to want to have sex when you're pregnant. Although it's more safer to do it during the 2nd trimester. If you have too much sex activity on the 1st tri, it could lead to miscarriage. Too much sex activity on the 3rd tri could lead to early labor/ delivery.

When I say too much, it means you can have it once in a while, and not all the time.

it is typically safe but not always comfortable to have sex at this juncture. Too close to the due date and it can set off contractions.

However, there is a psychological reason for increased desire - namely you know you can't get pregnant because you're already pregnant (LOL). Also not having to deal with a cycle for 9 months or more is a relief for many women, who enjoy the increased freedom and comfort that provides.

Yes, it is okay to want sex all the time, you can go from your first trimester to your third timester, unless your doctor says you can't. Sex does not hurt your baby, even if the doctor says it does it does not, i had one heck of a doctor at a hospital call the OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY this is where i had my last child, i am complete i have one boy and one girl. Please have a very nice day.

sex is safe during any point in the pregnancy as long as the doctor hasn't advised it other wise. Just make sure your in a position that doesn't put pressure on the stomach and your not getting a lot of air into the vagina

Yes, it is very normal. I think you are not supposed to in your last 2 weeks or so. But it is safe as long as you are careful. Not too rough.
