Yes. I used to watch it every week, but I never made it through the "Live From New York, It's..." maybe I'm getting old but me and my husband would ALWAYS fall asleep. Sometimes the musical act would wake me up. I hope they can get back to where it's always been before.

Yes, partially because of the success of the video Sunday Morning so now they're doing one each week in hopes of getting cool again. IUnfortunately most of them have been really awful. So really I only watch (when I DO watch) the beginning, the "weekend update" and if they have a guest that's good.
And they're losing two of their best writers/cast members--Tina Fey and Rachel Dratch.... so ... no matter what, they ARE getting new writers....but what are the prospects for the new season? Dim.

It just goes to show ya. Either it's bad writers or like gum on the bottom of your shoe. It sticks around until you step on it long enough.
Just like my Papa used to tell me when he was tucking me into bed, he'd say, "Roseanne Roseanna Danna, when people like you are gone, the whole season, she's a suck!".

I think they need fresh ideas. I honestly think they haven't been funny for about 6 years.
