I'm not sure if you're boss is male or female - but always look professional.
Nothing sleeveless - nothing low cut - a collar says I'm professional - no strappy sandals - pumps are always a hit.
Since it's raining, wear a raincoat to cover your clothes and use an umbrella (oh and avoid walking near the road - car splashes are a #1 piss off).
Waterproof mascara and makeup, wear your hair so that rain will not affect it - slicked back in a bun or ponytail (professional style).
Afternoon tea is usually a colorful event so wear a pastel suit, dress or outfit. Or white.
Good luck - hope this helps - think of Audrey Hepburn if that helps too.

Wear a cool dress, take an umbrella, the nicest raincoat or colour-co-ordinated jacket, comfortable but fashionable shoes and a matching handbag which should contain eye make -up , mirror, lipstick, handbag size hairspray if necessary and tissues. Feeling good is essential and will give you confidence. Don,t eat pastries as they will go all over your motuh and clothes. For gods sake don't drink for dutch courage. Have a good time, As a boss myself there is brownie points out there for being yourself and relaxed. Don't be ultra girlie - be professional. Go on you may surprise yourself and have a great time. Good luck to you, you are obviously concerned therefore probably know how to dress anyway. Bosses get nervous you know and have been there, done it. Don't picture your boss naked or such like as you may have a fit of the giggles. Mistake. Try to be interested in the job but impress on your boss how knowledgeable you are of the company and remember your performance is not life threatening!! RELAX and have a good time
