Get a lawyer, it's only fair that she should pay for the child you had together that you are looking after on your own. Of course alot depends on your income and hers and your standard of living and hers, if she can't make ends meet and you can, be fair about it, if you can't survive and meet expenses for your daughter, she HAS to pay, the child is more important than herself, that's what parenting is all about.

In most states they can take up to 55% of the non-custodial parents pay, even if this poses a hardship. Unless she is paying more than this amount or has since started receiving less pay most judges will not amend the child support amounts. If you are worried about what might happen I recommend that you talk to a lawyer in your area.

because child support is set way to high. how the heck can the one paying support them selves when half your check goes to your ex.kids don't cost that much ,not 100 or more a week. I have 4 kids and I did it without cs and we were just fine.of course I worked 2 jobs at times .and we never lived in a bad area either.

Its probably to satisfy her selfishness. Lets face it any female(not a woman, because a real woman would raise her daughter full time) lets her daughter be away from her for significant amounts of time is selfish. Especially in this day in age.
Hats off to you for living up to your responsibility while juggling career.
Support is set on pretty strick guidelines these days,so I'm sure that unless her income has changed due to something beyond her control, it is a frivolous action.

its up to the csa to decide how much the non resident parent should pay and also depending on how much they earn, she can appeal but it prob wont be in her favour so try not to worry.

That would be your right too if your daughter lived with her mother and you had a problem coming up with the support money. Just because she appealed doesn't mean it will be granted....don't get your undies in a knot just yet.

Don't worry the childs welfare will be considered and if she isn't paying enough she will continue paying enough and not less. Hope they make her pay more.

And? Can you please be more specific about what your problem is with this? Is she trying to stop all payments or are you unsure how to deal with an appeal, what? Sorry, need more info.
