Personally I use Acuvue 2. It's really comfortable and I never had the problem of it tearing. I've been using it for 2-3 years now. Previously I used B&L, but it always left my eyes a little dry.
You should see an authorised optometrist. The Specialist Eyecare store at Great World City is pretty good. They give you a proper examination (eye test, test for infection, curvature test) before recommending the most suitable brand for you. It really depends on your eye.
I found that daily disposables are usually way too expensive. So I go for bi-weekly disposables. They are a good in-between, a year's supply usually costs me < S$300.

I've used a few different brands over the years, but am now using Bausch&Lomb PureVision lenses (soft). They are wonderful!! They are a bit more costly than other brands, but I swear colors seem more vibrant in these and everything appears to be a little crisper. My eye doc put me in these because sometimes I had trouble driving at night...headlights looked blurry, my eyes got dry, etc. But, I don't have that problem whatsoever now. I strongly recommend them.

Yup! I have used B & L for over 10yrs and it's good and not ex.... But I think it's not only the lens that is important... it's also the way U take care of and handle ur lens...
But make sure U get a reputable one... cos its ur eyes! =)

I get the disposable ones that come 5 or 6 in a pack. that way if i rip one i will be able to see rite away, instead of having to oredr more and waiting for them to come in, then pick them up, etc. you know? but honestly i forgot the brand name of them. it is a blue white grenn box. but for my solution i use the opti free no rub moisture lock. new stuff works great!

Optix O2 works well and allows oxygen into your eyes. It is pretty affordable. I would ask your doctor he/she will help you.

I would go with a one day disposable as they tend to be thinner.
Brands choice is down to you!
