Getting angry is not a negative feeling. It depends how you take it out.

Jealousy can be negative though... it comes from a lack of self esteem - so does most of the other negative feelings.

Yes, because in one Greek legend. Zeus gave a box to Pandora. Zeus told Pandora not to open the box. He did this on purpose because Pandora was a very nosy person who could not resist opening the box. But, when she opened the box all evil things like anger, jealousy and all other negative things came out of the box. So by Pandora being so noisy she has coursed humanity to live with these feeling for all eternity.

You have a negative feelings such as angry, jealous because you can not contro your desires or poassions.Your passions should be controlled by your heart and your common sense to search and select the good doings. In islamic teaching we must select our good and bad deeds by complying to our holy book Al Qur'an and Hadith as our life guidance. We are free to select it a right path or a wrong path but we should responsible for our deeds to God Almighty. If we did a right deeds we will receive a reward and if we select the wrong one we will receive a punishment from our God.Jealous is a sign of love.but too jealous is wrong.A controlled angry is natural if something deed results are not as what we are wanted or hoped. But if you angry with someone and then you make hurt of him/her you are criminals.

Because we choose to. Many people make the false assumption that others have control of our personal emotions, ie, 'YOU' make me angry, upset, etc. This is far removed from the truth of it.
Notice that those who display negativity in any form to others are fighting their own inner battles against their self-hate, regrets and/or feelings of inadequacy, in varying degrees.
As for (Pooch, was it?) someone saying emotions are what separates us from the animals...obviously they have never heard a dog pine for a dead friend, had a cat snuggle up to them in loving expression, a horse jealously attack a rival or had any bond with our fellow animals whatsoever to be able to see that, as we animals have emotions, so too, do our cousins, the 'lesser' animals.
Be thankful for the negative emotions we experience in our current level of consciousness, for without them, we would not know the positive emotions we feel, nor appreciate them as much, for, without the bad, how could we judge the good?

Be well.

The basic cause for anger, jealous and other negative feelings is 'greed'. When your mind is not settled all these feelings come in.

A common weakness of humans is to expect to have wealth and comforts. When you do not get them you get angry - you feel jealous of other people who have them. You must learn to get over greed and to be satisfied with what you have.

Angry, because we feel other people have done something we don't like. Jealous...I don't know. I've never been jealouse of anyone, I'm pretty happy with myself. Other negative feelings...I'm not going to get into all of them.
