I would like to know what the best yard poison is for ticks?

I'm being invaded by ticks, probably because I have several dogs. I have tried granules and liquid, but I would really like to know some specific ingredients to look for. I'm literally being invaded by ticks. Any suggestions would be great.Thanks

Diazinion yard granules. it works for ticks ,fleas, ants, grubs, & all kinds of yard insects.

go to a feed store and get what they call in texas "Demon Spray " it comes in a packet of four read carefully it kills anythink and it leaves a residue for app. four months as long as water doesnot wash it away
