Love and Star Wars really don't go hand and hand. But I will tell you that love could be bright or not so bright. I don't believe dark and deadly fits this scenaro. Love is a great elixer and has the power to lift up a man and woman and to cause the couple to create life. Love is a wonderful thing.

He didn't do it for love. He headed down a rather slippery slope of wanting to selfishly control the destinies of the people that he loved...which led to his idea that he could control the entire universe. Has he not turned down the path to the Dark Side, Padme's death would never have come to pass. He chose to believe that he was so powerful that his dream HAD to be a true vision of the future, and put him self on a path to control her destiny. Had he not done so, she'd have lived. On the surface, it may seem like he did it for love, but it wasn't for love at all. Power was the bottom line. The power to control EVERYTHING.
"Don't be too proud of this technilogical terror you've built. The power to destroy a planet is insignificant compared to the power of The Force." - Darth Vader

Emotions are very dangerous thing. Even the wisest and greatest thinkers can get douped into doing stupid things because of their emotions. You must learn to interpret the truth behind the emotion and distinquish which emotions are true. Then the most important part. Know what is the right thing to do. Anakin reacted the same way at the death of his mother. Vader never learned to understand his emotion on to react to them. I believe he served justice for what was done but he was manipulated and tricked by one he looked up tp. He never had a real male role model in his life to support him & as soon as one showed the slightest interest in him. He beleived everything the Chancellor said. It's sad but happens everyday in life. By the Pademe was hot wasn't she?

Love is not a Force power. It's an emotion that must be control or you will fall into the Dark side of the Force. Is it one of the deadliest emotion? Probably is... lead Anakin to his eventual fall by not wanting to lose his love, not knowing that he would be the cause of his one true loves death.

Love isn't a dark force, but it is a force that is hard to control, so most Jedis know they should just avoid it all together. Some characters have been able to control it, but unfortunately they had to leave the Jedi lifestyle in order to persue it.
Anakin was just a bad person to begin with. He would have turned bad regardless of love.

Fear is the absence of Love...Love is Light and Truth, Fear is Shadow and Illusion. Real Love is Selfless (Altruism) Jedis are Egoless . Siths base their realities on Ego wich is false Self, therefore LIES.What Anakin did was all based out of fear of losing what he was trying to posess and control. That's what a lot of people do unfortunately!!! When you Love, you just give without any intentions of getting something in return. If you love somebody, set them free! And have no attachment to the outcome.

He did all those terrible things out of a quest for power in the midst of his confusion. He found out Padme died right atthe end after he had been converted into his darth form we are all familiar with.

love is the strongest emotion, it bonds people (and spirit), together, it keeps families together, it makes a mother the strongest member of the family ,they call it maternal instinct but it goes far beyond this, love goes through intuition, healing, all the psychic arts, in star wars they talk about the (force) you know the hidden ability to do all sorts of weird and wonderful things, but they only touch on love, which is the real strength that everyone shares. love and light

But he was also angry for being marginalized by the Jedi Council and treated like a child by Obi-Wan.

If you understand YODA (Episode 2), there is only the FORCE!
Anakin was manipulated by the Emperor, not brainwashed - it was his fear of loss, driven by his feelings of attachment and affection - LOVE/HATE = THE FORCE.
