We all should change when presented with new knowledge or understanding of ourselves or our environment. In most respects, this is called learning.
I think though, since where we are and who we are is entirely the endpoint of countless experiences and thoughts over our lifetime so far, even the change we make is still limited given it is a result of that accumulation of everything we have learned. Because we make all of our changes in reference to our lived past, we can not change everything at once, but we can guide ourselves to better fits with ourselves and our environment.
Maybe you have new knowledge that suggests a need to change; hopefully towards some higher standard of behavior. But, I'm hoping too that you are not changing as a result of being burnt for adhering to some personal values and convictions, therefore considering dropping them. In this case you might consider changing or leaving the environment you are in for the moment.
Good luck.

Ambiguity will be your downfall.
I've changed a lot of myself though.
I'll take a guess:
Low self-esteem, self loathing, insecurity, being bored with the way your life is currently going, looking for something more, reaching out to find your potential, trying new things, etc.
Changing who you are is not always bad.
Just don't lose yourself.
