Bangkok Kiss by David Thompson.
The most emotional book I have ever read. Found myself laughing at loud and then, a few chapters in, crying my eyes out! A real roller coaster ride!

The Bible of course will always hold the number one position, but after that would be the "Dune" series by Frank Herbert, then "The Talisman", by Stephen King and Peter Straub.
