Dimebag Darrell was murdered on stage by some ex-marine guy named Nathan Gale. He was also shot by the police. I want to know why did Nathan Gale shot Dimebag Darrell.

He was mad that Pantera wasn't together and Dimebag was in Damage Plan. Supposedy the investigation ruled out this motive, but there's no other motive even mentioned.

And I just thought this was sweet:

Some months before his murder, Darrell had found out from one of his industry contacts that Eddie Van Halen and Charvel guitars were going to produce a limited-edition series of guitars bearing Van Halen's trademark tape-striping. Van Halen himself would be individually taping each guitar and they would also come with a picture of him doing so and a certificate of authenticity. According to Eddie, Darrell called him on the phone and asked if he could purchase one before they became available. Eddie replied that the next time he saw Darrell, he would have one of the guitars with him and would stripe it in Darrell's presence as a gift. Before they could meet again, Darrell was murdered. Eddie recounted this story when he spoke at Darrell's funeral, then, to the surprise of those in attendance, he brought out the black and yellow tape-striped guitar seen on the back cover of Van Halen II(which Darrell had said was his favorite guitar of Eddie's) and laid it in Darrell's casket to be buried with him.

The guy that killed dimebag was a freak obsessed with Pantera.
He blamed Darrel for the break up of the band and stalked him then killed him.

It had something to do with the break-up of Pantera. I think Nathan was a huge fan and could never come to terms with the band splitting up.

That's what I remember, anyway.

remember that in music certain genres will attract certain select people . obvious rock and metal attracts sometimes crazy people, also most of those bands are formed algarete there is no structure and order. also you crush the instrument with violence that will attract los lobos.how do i know well moving your hand too much etc...people like chopin, franz liszt they lived long becuase they dont favor too much fortissimo in fact look at chopin sonata there are parts where there is no pedaling that says alot of the composer. in the part presto there is no pedaling at all.
