Yeast infection - get monistat :) It's VERY common. Also eat lots of yogurt..it helps fight that type of infection.

More than likely it is a yeast infection, which is very common. Get some Monistat( OTC yeast infection medication) and/or some plain or organic yogurt. You can put the yogurt on your vagina and you can also dip a tampon into the yogurt and insert it into the vagina and sleep with it in. If you do not have a yeast infection(look up on the web about the symptoms to see if you think it is a yeast infection) you may be experiencing vaginal dryness. This can cause itching and will be relieved by using Vagisil. If you think you do have a yeast infection you may be more comfortable
going to your OB/GYN and getting the one dose pill Diflucan and an ointment for the burning and itching.
This could also be an STD!!! If you're sexually active you may need to have that checked out, as well. If you're not having sex then do not worry about that. Until this irritation is cleared up it would be a good idea to take showers only...no tub baths and no bubble bath or shower gel. Good luck.

As long as you're not discharging anything that looks and smells like foamy fishwater, it's probably a yeast infection.

If your discharge is white and lumpy, and smells like, well, yeast, you have got a yeast infection. Have you been taking antibiotics lately? Have you worn a wet swimsuit for an extended period of time?

Eat yogurt, and get some Monostat. That should clean it right up.

If you have other symptoms, though, such as greenish discharge, cramping, or painful urination, go to the doctor as this could be an STD.

I hope that helped.
