Me, I can't touch coffee if it's been sitting on my desk for 15-20 minutes getting cold. So how does Dave do it? I've seen him, halfway through a really, really, really long and painful interview, just swig it down like there's nothing to it.

Does anyone refill his mug during commercial breaks?

Is he just faking it, and the mug's full of water?

Is there a gigantic bucket behind him, and he just waits for the cameras to cut away to the band?

And If the coffee IS hot, after all, which guest on Letterman, so far, has been most deserving of having the whole contents emptied on their head?

I don't know who deserves to be doused with hot coffee, but some of us DO like cold coffee ... sound strange to someone who can't stand it, but I like cold coffee better than iced coffee (especially with a lot of sugar and milk, I can see how it would be gross if you like your coffee black).
