Is it ok to to drive without the breather hose on. What will the damage be? Not a really long drive like 2 miles to work then 2 miles home like 5 hours later...I dont have the money right now to get one or i ould cuz it's a simple fix but is ok for now w/o it on or will my engine blow up..?

Crank case breather from the top of the valve cover to the air filter boot? Not a good idea to run with out any hoses off because this causes un-metered air to get in past the air flow meter thus leaning out the engine. Duct tape old garden hose dig around you will come up with something to at least seal up the broken hose.

It will also take in unfiltered air letting anything into your engine which could damage it.
