if your party is domestic or international, this calling feature is amazing, and of course, you can also IM with the service.

less accounts to worry about, and always free for anyone in the world. skype can cost money for some international VoIP calls.

I have been using Skype. I find it better and easier than other Voip services. You can call free from PC to PC if each computer has Skype installed or you can call out to a landline or mobile phone for a minimal fee. They are having a promotion and all calls to telephones in the U.S. and Canada are free for the rest of the year. I tried using a little headset/mic unit and the quality was poor. I upgraded to a USB phone and now the quality approaches a regular phone.
