I am not sure at all about that item HOWEVER.... most pets and unwanted pests will stay out of the garden if you put human hair in it.... the next time someone in the family goews for a trim.. ask to keep it, and sprinkle it around...... Sounds silly but it works pretty well....

Catch them and put them somewhere else in a varment trap.
