My wife (she's S.African) and I are looking to migrate to South Africa from the UK and I have a very good CV for my career in IT management, however I'm having trouble finding an agency that would take me on without me being over there. The main push back I'm getting is as a result of being white (most jobs tend to be AA or EE)

Cant help you jobwise, but in terms of promotion, forget it. in uk we had a 'Glass Ceiling' so far as female promotion was concerned, there they have a 'Sooty Ceiling' My two nephews in SA, one a Corporate Lawyer, other an Accountant, and lawyers fiance, Actuary, are all intending to get to London for thier carreers. My Boer tannie ( Afrikaans Auntie or wife) got homesick for uk after a few years back in SA. Hate to put a damper on your ideas, but better to know now, rather than later.....
