i was just wondering if someone knew something about this country, about its history and the great people lived there!

I have been there. A rugged, peasants and farmland country, underdeveloped compared to the rest of Europe, perhaps slightly better than Albania. Torn by conflicts throughout history - from the Greeks to the Ottomans and finally Soviet Russia.
But Nature, as everywhere else, has its own charm there.

i know that soon they will play a football(soccer) match against Romania for the euro 2008 qualification stage....well I'm from Canada but i have family in Romania so i hope Bulgaria will lose :P but anyway we can still watch the match and drink a beer, cheers mate!

I have a couple of rifles from there. Former eastern block country. not much else.

went there when i was younger and found it a great place. people really friendly - food great ! what more dya need to know !
