Hopefully, Lebanon will be the real winner. If Israel "removes" Hezbollah, then Lebanon doesn't have to worry about a militia attacking Israel and beginning a conflict that kills innocent people on both sides of the border.
What it means is hopefully, Lebanon can return to starting to become a true democracy. They were getting close and Hezbollah screwed it up for the Lebanese people. If Hezbollah would have disbanded, all this would have been avoided.

The victor is peace and humanity ,when all parties engaged in the conflicts directly or indirectly realized that hostility ,hatre and killing each others would not solve the problem in the Middle East .
Having said that,in the event that every body carry their ego ,false pride and attachment with them it can be hell for the world , and we might as well enjoy our kebab and hope for the best ,and pray that it is not the last dinner..as peace and humanity might lose out to anger ,hatre and hostility in action ... at the meantime just enjoy what you have with you ,and cheer up and live under this very moment of your life ,,forgetting about the past, stop dreaming about the future ,and live now ...

This war didn't start a couple weeks before...

this war is old...
It is between Muslims and Jews...

as both holy books and sources from both religion mention a war just before the begining of the end of the world...

and it is happening...

i guess the jew books didn't mention a vector...

But the islamic ones did... (Hadeeth)
it says that the muslim will unite and kill every jew warrior in israel, and will spare women and children...

Fuel prices are controlled by america...
More wars, higher prices

also, i don't know why Kebab is pointed as the arabs food?
cause it isn't
i guess it is a figure of speech

the Israelis were suppose to win in the first days ,they didn't and now after4 weeks they have lost some of their soldiers,2 ships, they are having their cities bombed for the first time ,and Hezbollah is still there and has not freed their soldiers, well no one excepted anything more from Hezbollah they are not a trained army but they are facing one of the best armies in the world ,and the US is also helping Israel with sending them bombs, but so far Israel could only deal with kids and new born children and women.

Hezbollah is winning, compliments of Israel. Its rate of approval within Lebanon is higher now, it's the only force defending Lebanon and if Israel stops any action (and it should) Hezbollah will be the winner as it's proving that its missile launching capabilities were not diminished.
Net result: fundamentalism on the rise, which is what you guys in the US are praying for. You reelected you cowboy... this is just one result.

Even if Israel "end up as the victor" it will only be pyrrhic and short lived. The conflict itself will never end. Resistance groups will keep emerging (with different names) until the injustice on which "the state of Israel" was contrived is corrected.

Israel will lose even if they win this conflict. the hatred and resentment against Israel and the USA is growing by leaps and bounds. I believe i can include England in this group.

It is not blind hatred, the reasons are clear. If the aggression does not stop, there will be hell to pay. We, as citizens of these countries need to stand up in unison and stop the aggression Now, before it is too late.

No one wins. However, the HezBULLies loose more.

It means that Israel will have given the west a blueprint for dealing with the Islamic terrorists and that there will be less Islamic terrorists in the world.
