You and I will never see the colonization of other planets, and this includes the moon. Our space technology is just not there. If it had built up like computer technology has over the past 20 years we would have sent people to mars a few times at least and you might have seen some plans in the way of colonizing. But at the present time there is no reason to think it will happen in the next 80 years.

How can one respond to your question if we disagree with the basic premise? First you would have define what a “slave race is” for the question to have meaning and any response, to be meaningful. Personally I do not believe there is such a thing. Secondly, I suspect that you are referring to all of humanity and if so the term race does not apply as you are actually referring to the species Homo Sapiens Sapiens.
Of the two options offered, “rejoin our ancient roots” or “colonizing other planets,” the latter shall occur as technological development occurs and it will take time, but the next one hundred years should see much development beyond our home planet. The former can’t be responded to because I’m not sure what you mean. Do you mean at the point that that our species came into being or at some later point in definable cultural history? In any case, going back is not really an option.
Finally, as individuals, groups, or the entire species, we cannot go beyond the species attributes to which we are bound. If somehow we could do that we would no longer be Homo Sapiens Sapiens.

The International Space Station is a small first step in the push to colonize other planets. Earth will eventually die, there's no question of that. It won't be for a few billion years, but it is inevitable. If we haven't expanded beyond our solar system by the time the Sun explodes, the human race will end.

I don't think rejoining our ancient roots would make a difference. Look at people nowadays...Everybody's too busy with the world around them to even respect or obey their own culture and traditions. So I'd have say we should start colonzing other planets and maybe set a bunch of rules and laws of our past cultures/traditions. And I disagree with those who say..we should deal with the issues in our world first. Those issue are never ending and it's a fact.

Before messing up the Universe, let's clean up our own back yard. While I'm a proponent of space exploration, colonization will do us no good until we fix the issues within humankind as a whole

You are as you perceive, be it master or slave. Within you is the source of all you are, you may develop yourself in any manner you choose. If you choose a mentality of captivity then it is your to make as you will. Even one who is imprisoned still has the freedom of mind mastery. One man's junk is another man's treasure.

Never. We are all slaves of money...
And as long there are States there are tax-payers...
and paying taxes is the worst status of slavery...

We have been given free will, the ability to make choices for ourselves. What you do with that is up to you, but therein lies consequence.
