You will have to install a USB 2.0 card. There is nothing wrong with your computer it is just telling you that it would be faster with USB 2.0.
I agree it is an annoyance, but I believe you can turn these alerts off. Maybe someone else on here knows how? I never tried.

Try reinstalling the Windows, since it has integrated the USB 2.0 in its "primary" drives. Reinstalling only the usb 2.0 drivers won't resolve your problem, (or maybe it will) but take into consideration that the drivers that you use are allready usb 2 complian so the problem may come from another driver, or ... just reinstall windows, , trying to figure out why the message apears and trying to fix a problem in windows can be a real mess. That is my advice, do what you consider to be the best way to resolve your probelm.
Cheers!

It sounds like there is a driver mismatch.
Or more like a missing driver.
Some USB devices will be recognised and work fine as 1.1 devices but there is a supplemental sort of "filter" driver that enables the 2.0 in them.
I suggest reinstalling the drivers from scratch (remove the device in control panel, then run the driver setup program)
I personally OWN a USB 2.0 card that occasionally loses the "filter" driver, and reverts to 1.1, and every time I plug my DVD+/-R/RW/RAM drive into it, it gripes that I have plugged a high speed device into a non-high speed port.
For gods sake don't take to completely reinstalling windows over this. You will never learn anything if all you do is reinstall windows every time you have a problem. I used to have a technician like that...drove me insane but I couldn't fire him because MY boss liked him.

hey don't worry about it .
every thing is in your control .It will not cause any problem . Your usb slot is faster then the device you are using.
So don't worry about it . Actually the port is advanced and device has not much capacity like your port.
Neither your port nor your device having any problem
