More than 48 hours.

596(target)-400(regular) = 196(extra needed)

Since, regular hours is 40 for a week, rest are extra...

196/24.5 = 8

40+8 = 48

In order to EXCEED.. needs to work more than 48

added : Or.. you can just write more than 8 hrs overtime** I think this is a better answer.

The amount of Hourly pay for overtime $ 24.50

24.50 x 8 = 196 equals the difference
