There is no advantage in love - there is more in getting sex.

There is an advantage in social status - that goes without saying

There is no advantage in friendship - the rich probably have no friends at all. They are surrounded with people who want something from them

There is may be an advantage in group acceptance or this might be equal for both. I have gone into depressed neighborhood and I see poor people in a group laughing and talking happily to each other. These group may be more sincere because they know there isn't much material stuff to get from each other.

- Love -- advantage-- Poor man. A poor man has nothing so he knows if he gets a wife, it's because she loves him for who he is and not what he has.

Social status --advantage-- rich man. It is just the obvious nature of things. But within their own peer groups, the advantage can go either way.

Winning friends --advantage-- poor man for the same reasons he has an advantage of love.

group acceptance -- advantage -- neither. Each will find a group that accepts them. However, I would say that the sincerity of the poor man's group would be more real and honest.

Ultimate success cannot be measured by material wealth; indeed wealth can stunt the progress of a soul's evolution by insulating him from the school of hard knocks.
a poor man is usually far stronger in character than a wealthy one.
A poor man has true friends that value him as a person, can a rich man be sure that this is the case? Or are thet attracted to his wallet?

I wrote it, believe it, am very spiritual, yet wouldn't mind a lottery win to see if i'm right, mercenary, greedy, faulted human that I am!

Yes, the rich man has an advantage over a poor man. people tend to gravitate toward the rich man. It's only human nature to do this.

rich men have a slight advantage simply because they have more resources, opportunities and they can present themselves better. however, after the first impression, a rich man and a poor man are pretty much on the same level because its really a person's personality that counts.

Let's just say the rich have a lot of people around them all the time. Are they his friends, and do they really love him for himself?
The odds are against him. Yes, there are people who loves this guy for himself, but being rich, he will always have this question in the back of your mind, do they like me just for my money?
