I got syphillis from a prostitute a few weeks ago. Should I tell my wife?

Your wife deserves to know. This is important. Syphilllis can damage her reproductive organs and cause her to become terribly ill, and you too should be worried about the risks-if you are treating this but continue to have sex with your wife, she can reinfect you.
If treated early, it can be cured with antibiotics. If left untreated, it can spread and attack almost every part of the body including the skin, heart, blood vessels and brain.
Tell your wife.... but I would suggest wearing something for protection, and I don't mean a condom. This time, a helmet, a cup... maybe even a bullet proof vest.

There is so much talk about AIDS, I had forgotten that syphilis was out there. AIDS will eventually kill you, but syphilis will not if treated right away. (Let's pray that she (the prostitute) doesn't have AIDS too.)Therefore, you need to be treated and your wife needs to be told and examined if you had sex with her afterward.
