Most men are not actually insensitive, they are actully quite the opposite. Recently i learned from ym psychology class that males are actually hurt more emotionally from relationship break ups than women are. The idea that males are emotionally unaware and insensative is a common stereotype that should be tossed out the window.
Men often do tell what they truly feel when they can trust a significant other. They do not start relationships out with emotional feelings because what if the girl leaves, they will only be hurt, hence the afore emntioned phrase regarding men and break ups.

Men are not insensitive. Most are so sensitive that they will do almost anything to prove that they are NOT sensitive. The are afraid of rejection, just like women are.

no different than women. humans are pigs in general. Only you're an exception! So in this case, you can consider all men to be pigs.
Anyway realistically, it's because men have two heads. And when one is thinking, the other doesnt. The one between the legs is usually doing the thinking so the modern day man usually makes bad choices every single conscious minute of the day.

All people including "guys" are sometimes afraid to tell what they truly feel because of lack of trust.

Here's the funny thing about human beings. Physically, men and women are exactly the same, we differ only in size and implementation of those areas of the body (genitals, musculature) that make us different. We are also the same emotionally and intellectually. The differences enter in expression, and implementation. In other words, how we decide what to act on, what to hide, and what not to express, and how to express what we do express. Men differ in that they are not quite as well-versed in handling any emotion other than anger, impatience, and stubbornness. Too many reasons why to list here.

Is not that. We're simple men with simple mind. Words and feelings are not the same. We just don't see necessary to make a crisis from everything.
Things are as they are, if u wanna cry, cry, but don't ask guys to do the same if they don't wan't to.

I totally agree with David.Men are brainwashed as children to think its only girls that are allowed to cry/show emotion. If more men could let the tears flow once in a while it would be a great relief on there emotional being.

I believe it's a combined product of genetics and nurturing. Since Nature, mainly, made us what we are then there has to be some necessary survival element to it: Or else we wouldn't be here!
PS: Dear missleme, you mean we all have a sow for a MOTHER??? And what will you be called should you ever give birth?
