About six weeks. Touch the wound with a cotton ball or swab moistened with alcohol several times a day (use a fresh clean one each time!) and move the earring about a bit, without removing it. If it stings, you know it's still open. Six weeks is a good estimate. DON'T remove the earring before that or the hole will close.

depends on the location, earlobes 4-6 weeks 4 weeks if absolutely must change and 6 is prefered. Cartilage is atleast 2 months if not 3. If you have any problems with discharge or irritation still after the minimum heal time DO NOT take your rings out and go get professional help as soon as possible

4-6 weeks. Remember to keep spinning and disinfecting them. I didn't do this when I was younger and ended up having the earrings surgically removed.

the piercer will usually recommend six weeks. Make sure you spray the ears with a disinfectant spray (the piercer will usually sell that to you when you get your ears pierced) twice a day, every day.
