I have to agree with erri ...it's a great task for Juventus to get back to Serie A but not a mission impossible..They have great players that believe in the team and I'm sure they want to show the fans that they can become #1 again..They'll always be #1 for me.
I believe in Juventus and you'll see them in Serie A by next year!!

Forza Juventus

Very, very difficult!

Seems that "erri" talks more with the "hope" Juventus can get to the Serie B playoffs (which may give them the chance to reach the Serie A) than the reality of a VERY tough tournament.
Serie B is absolutely different from Serie A: longer tournament, different quality of play, tougher teams.
In the last few years, Serie B have offered a very large amount of games that did not "respect" the common expectations (based on Teams' strenght). Moreover, the "favorite" teams usually have encountered so many problems that at the end they were not able to advance in Serie A.
Juventus will start with an enormous handicap (-17) and they should be VERY careful, because they can get involved with the relegation play-outs.
Buffon, Del Piero, Nedved and the other "stars" cannot guarantee anything: once again, the Serie B is absolutely a different tournament and big names are just an incentive for other teams to play "the game of their life" when they will play with Juve.

If Juventus stays in serie B with the 17 point handicap; they "should" be able to win relegation to Serie A by next year assuming the'll win the same number of games won last year.
Keep in mind that Serie B is not as strenuous as Serie A, but many of the teams there will try their best to beat Juventus (for bragging rights).
According the an italian newspaper (Gazzetta) there is a chance that the teams penalized will have the handicap reduced or removed; if this is the case then Juve should not have any problems returning to the top division.

It's a great challenge, starting at 17- points and losing their champions.
'Serie B' is always a struggling championship. Last year Atalanta won with 81 points, 24 wins, 9 draw, 9 loss. Cesena caught play-off at 6th place with 66 points, 18 wins, 12 draw, 12 loss. I guess it's better to Juventus managers and coach to schedule a final result in regular season at 6th place.
To reach 66 points starting from 17- they must gain something as 25 wins, 8 draw, 9 loss. It's a difficult task, not a mission impossible. They must play slightly better then Atalanta did in the past season.
Atalanta line-up was Taibi; Natali, Carrera, Sala; Foglio, Zenoni, Zauri, Berretta, Bellini; Comandini, Bianchi. Good players in 'serie B', and they deserved to win, but they were so far from Juventus line-up. I guess their formation could be an amazing 3-4-3 (Lippi's favorite tactic when Deschamps was playing in Juventus) modified in 3-4-1-2 with Marchionni as play-maker immediately after forwards: Buffon; Legrottaglie; Chiellini; Balzaretti (Birindelli); Giannichedda; Tudor; Nedved; Zanetti: Marchionni; Del Piero; Bojinov (Volpato or Palladino). This assuming Ibrahimovic, Trezeguet and Camoranesi will leave Juventus as well as Kapo, Kovac and Zebina. It's a great team and they could gain 83 points. They need 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 lost every 5 match. Seems possible to me.
Of course, Buffon, Del Piero, Nedved are the team's core, but Bojinov is my best pick in next ship. He's young, he likes to play in such a great club, he was relegated in bench in the past ship and will show great revenging attitude. Now he isn't Ibrahimovic and Trezeguet replacement, he's in the default line-up.
Nedved was close to retiring, but he loves Juventus and Turin and he has a challenging spirit.
Deschamps is a great coach.
Alain Elkann show how Agnelli family want to support Juventus.
So I guess they have 80% chances to come back in 'serie A'. If only one between Camoranesi, Trezeguet and - it's unlikely and this disappoint me - Ibrahimovic will stay in Juventus, chances rise to 90%.

Not for least a year; the probe was aimmed at Juventus and they got them, while only tapping AC Milan on the hand. The worst injustice in the soccer world.
