There are skin bleaching products available (hello, has nobody heard of Michael Jackson) but they are generally only given on prescription to people with skin disorders.

Sweetie, I suspect that you are living somewhere where you are a minority, right? I grew up in a town where I was one of 5 families in the whole town that wasn't white. When I went to high school there where 3 other kids who weren't white. It was hell. I wished all the time that I was just a white kid like everyone else. Then I went to university and moved away from that red-neck hell-hole and learned that in the big, wide world, tanned is beautiful! Every race has beautiful people in it, but you can't be beautiful while you are trying to fight against what nature has given you. Michael Jackson was a good looking black boy. Now he's a white freak! Work what you've got! One day you'll move out into the world and see your own beauty. xx

And finally, as a side note: I'm offended by the comment that if there was a way to “make you fair... there would be no ******”. The implication is that everyone would choose to be fairer skinned if they could and that we shouldn't LOVE being dark skinned, merely TOLERATE it because we have no choice.

Use multani mitti and apply it on the face, and if possible on the whole body. Use milk and honey. These will add luster to your skin.
You should not be unnecessarily worried about the skin color.I have a liking for both. If you are cheerful and maintain a good health and do yoga etc, you are bound to be attractive. I have been fascinated by many dark-colored ladies.

Nothing on earth can make you fair.
If that was possible there would be no ******.
There is no problem in being dark, C'mon even superstars like JLo, Bipasha Basu & Naomi Campbell are dark.

Be proud of what you are. Why you want to change the color of your skin???
If you are very much concerned about it, then go for plastic surgery.
