I currently have a Treo 650 with Sprint but Im visiting Japan right now and would like to get something more high tech. Is there any way I can bring back a cell phone and have it work with Sprint (CDMA)?

NOPE!!

Japan has a whole different technology with their cell phones.

Its sort off CDMA, but I ask one of my friend who lives there.. He said its advance CDMA, that no country can't work it..

They are so unique with their technology..

Check it out we are just being introduce to 3G technology they had it since 1999, they have 4G now..

So I know you like Japanese phones due to their High End features.. I mean me too..

But its not compatible with our network service here in the US.

It would have to be programmed by Sprint, but you would have to check with them to confirm.
Can you email Sprint?
