Hugh Grant is an actor and I believe being called a "Hugh Grant" relates to the fact that a number of years ago Hugh Grant was arrested in a car while he was receiving oral sex from a prostitute, Devine Brown, in 1995 while in CA. At the same time Grant was involved with model/actress Elizabeth Hurley - letting people wonder what was he thinking fooling around on one of the most beautiful women at that time (to many) in Hollywood. Although their relationship last for a couple more years it seemed never to really recover from what happened. Grants seemed to salvage his career by showing up on "Late Night with Jay Leno" and besides a few jibes from Leno came off very well in his responses and seemed to regain from that point on his popularity with the media. Now for why people would call someone a "Huge Grant" was meant that you were being a player or a cheater on your girl friend and a pretty stupid one at that. However now that has changed and when someone is called the next "Huge Grant it is meant as more of a possitive line as actor Mattew Goode was called another "Hugh Grant" after his role in Woody Allen's movie "Match Point" (although the idea of him being a player with that role would still fit) in an article found in "Newsweek" (see http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12411239/site/newsweek/). However Goode's roll in that film is much darker than most of the roles that Grant has evern had or is known for.

Hugh Grant is an English actor, very suave and good looking, and fairly successful. He did make one rather large blunder in his career, by being caught with a very unattractive hooker. Bare in mind this is a guy who had a Superhot girlfriend at the time, and could have had his pick of many women, given his fame and looks.

Why someone would call you that, maybe you're cute and have that kind of bashful charm that Hugh demonstrated in his roles.

The English who initially coined the time period football, a slang for association football. Canadians, Australians, New Zealand and South Africans also call it that. there's a interest already talked about as football so why confuse human beings. it really is the same interest does it surely count number. finally i imagine i can make sense no longer to apply stereotypes even as talking about human beings. it really is the alluring sport, do not argue about the call.

He's the actor that was in "My Best Friend's Wedding" and "Mickey Blue Eyes" and a few others that I don't know the names of.
Maybe they called someone that because they look like him or resemble him in some way.

Must be in reference for cheating on Elizabeth Hurley with a dog-ugly prostitute. Did this person cheat in this manner?
