No the real questions are 1)will your car still be thrashed 2)Will you care about the sound when you see the car 3)will you make a sound when you see how thrashed the car is 4)if no one is around to hear you curse at the tree, can you prove you made any sound at all 5) how much sound will be emitted by you overall as a reaction to said accident, in relation to the amount of sound the tree most likely made when it fell on the car

Nowe where into meta fysics I think. What youre looking for is if there is no one to hear the sound, will it be a sound. I say YES because you could place a sensordevice nearby, walk away and it will still sence the sound (or record it if it can). But then you may say that the sensor is an ear. That maybe correct but I belive its not important for the sound that there is anyone nearby to hear. Johan
